EDUcation Abroad offers
high school students the opportunity
to learn a second language and enlarge
their cultural understanding by living
with upper middle class Brazilian families

in daily community life with a special
plus, such as soccer training classes.
The exchange student and his/her host
family must be willing to get to know
each other on a close personal basis.

José dos Campos is very well
located in Vale do Paraiba valley, less
than an hour drive from São Paulo
City, the biggest Brazilian city, less
than an hour from Caraguatatuba a city
by the ocean, less than an hour from
Campos do Jordao, a very fancy city

drive from Rio de Janeiro city. Besides
São José dos Campos there
are other cities such as Jacareí,

Cost of living in Brazil is today considerably
cheaper than the cost of
living in the U.S. São José

cheaper than big cities and also it
might be a better place to make friends
and learn the culture.

the mutual trust. In our evaluation
of families the most important points
are psychological stability, open-mindedness
